The Institute of Geoinformatics Münster provides bachelor, master and phd degrees in geoinformatics. Our research areas are spatio-temporal dynamic processes, semantic interoperability, spatial assistance systems, cognitive engineering and sensor networks. |

Am Institut für Geoinformatik der Universität Münster sind ab 1.3.2010 oder später 2 studentische Hilfskraftstellen (10h oder 12h pro Woche) zu besetzen. Zu den Aufgaben gehört die Mitarbeit bei der Konzeption und prototypischen Entwicklung von Geoprozessierungs- und Cloud Computing Diensten. Bewerberinnen und Bewerber sollen Geoinformatik, Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder ein vergleichbares Fach im 4. Fachsemester oder höher studieren und über grundlegende Java-Kenntnisse verfügen sowie Interesse an kooperativer und selbstständiger Entwicklung von open source – Software haben.

ifgi spring school March 21-31, 2010 |

As in previous summer and fall schools, the ifgi Spring School 2010 addresses advanced GI Masters and PhD students (up to 30 ifgi and guest students). Within the ten days, three short block courses will provide know-how on innovative topics of GIScience. Applications are to be sent until January 10, 2010.
