Positiv finde ich die Atmosphäre im IfGI. Die Veranstaltungen sind meistens klein und man kennt sich untereinander. Außerdem wird sich sehr um die Studenten gesorgt. Richard Redweik, ifgi-Student, 5. Semester Bachelor
The organizational issues at IfGI worked very well. I consider very important the contact with people from different countries, and also enjoyed a lot to experience the German way of life. Münster's people are very gentle and it was possible to overcome the language drawbacks, once I don't speak German. It was a very nice period in the city, where I learned a lot on Geoinformatics issues, interacted with very nice and competent researchers and staff members, and I also had personal and cultural improvements. I hope to be back Münster soon. Marcelino Pereira, Brazil
Studying at IFGI was a wonderful experience. It is a highly innovative research environment and I was consistently impressed with the expertise of the professors and students. I especially appreciated its classroom atmosphere, where collaboration and discussions are usually favored over the traditional lecture style. Amenity Applewhite, USA, Erasmus Mundus Master Student
Being at ifgi for my second semester Master's program was a precious and privileged opportunity, that gave me experience and exposure of its kind in one of the highly developed countries in Europe. Münster is very nice and green and the most outstanding city i have ever lived in. Robert Ngereja, Tanzania, Erasmus Mundus Master Student
I like the people in IFGI, they are quite warm-hearted, and whenever I meet difficulties no matter in study or in life, they are always willing to help. Thanks to the professors and schoolfellows, I am enjoying the strong academic atmosphere here in IFGI and having a wonderful time in Muenster. Ye Fanghong, China, Erasmus Mundus Master Student
Muenster is rainy but it is the most green city I ever seen. You feel living with the nature, inside of it. That gives a great feeling for studying here also. It's one of the best places to do Erasmus. IfGI gives freedom to students, thats nice. Ah... dont forget to buy a bike! Ledjo Seferkolli, Albania, Erasmus Mundus Student
My student life in Münster - IFGI was so memorable. Beside the Geospatial Technologies- Erasmus Mundus courses I have done, it was a good opportunity to meet a lot of new people and make new friends. Münster has a lot of culture in it (e.g. language, bicycle, Mensa) and I have really enjoyed experiencing Münster so far! Ich liebe es! Addis Getnet Yesserie, Ethiopia, Erasmus Mundus Student
This is the ideal place for studying, having several activities and cultural program for international students. I am enjoying my stay in Münster not just because of world-class benefit and facilities for the international students but also for the friendly and collaborative environment. Moreover, I feel IFGI like a family where everybody interact one another regarding academic and casual discussions. As a city, Münster is one of the most liveable and greenest cities in Europe. Some more excitement and fun will be added if you have bike during your stay. Tanmoy Das, India, Erasmus Mundus Student |
