 | Patrick is currently finishing his PhD about the discovery of place names in crowd-source annotations on the Web. He has been involved in several research projects, and is currently managing the technical coordination of the European FP7 project Envision. The semantic enablement of Web services in the Geospatial Web is his daily business. Other interests are the real-time discovery of, reasoning on, and visualization of events in sensor data streams, the intersection between social web applications and the more traditional geospatial applications, and the anything remotely related to linked data.
