about me

In 2007 I finished my studies in Landscape Ecology at the University of Münster with my diploma thesis about individual exposure to particulate matter. Since December 2007, I am PhD student in the spatio-temporal modelling lab of Edzer Pebesma at IfGI. My PhD topic is about on model approaches and data integration for estimating individual exposure to air pollution and quantifying the related uncertainty.

Currently, I work for the EU FP7 project UncertWeb. UncertWeb aims to develop the uncertainty enabled model web. There, I am working on uncertainty visualisation, air quality modelling and integration issues. For the last 2 1/2 years I was involved in HEIMTSA. HEIMTSA was an EU FP6 project about developing tools and methodologies for integrated environmental health assessment.
